I stumbled across the local disc golf course john knight park back in 2018 shortly after it had been installed and was addicted instantly. Iv played ultimate frisbee for 10 years so I initially had a go with an ultrastar but found
A beginner pack shortly after. Being a short pitch and putt course I was like 2, 3 rounds a day for the first 6 months. The Australian national championships just happened to be in Canberra that year so I jumped in head first and had a go with only a handful of discs in ma2 I didn't do well but being the competitive person I am I was more motivated than ever to improve and compete in MPO. I won afew ma1 comps and then jumped to MPO at the end of 2021.
I have been a big discmania Fan from the start. I was a big fan of Simon and eagle and watched all their videos and threw all their discs. I have recently stepped away from ultimate frisbee to try make the most of the disc golf and dial it in, I'm super excited to be representing Discmania this year.
